The premise:
Fictional 80's girl group 'Lipstick' reunite 25 years after their fallout and subsequent breakup in the late 90's. Can the 3 women put aside their differences and pull their shit together in time for the biggest gig of their careers?
The idea would be to have a mix of part doc-series style ''behind the scenes of putting the tour together'', part 'interview' with each of the members, part 'live show' where we finally see them performing their hits.
I'd love to find someone who is interested in co-writing this idea with me. I've started fleshing some of it out here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UI4R5vmBAg0nWuctM4A1I7bWJauKcuQjXVevDyo40aw/edit#gid=804958320
But think it could be a really fun project to work on with someone else. Coming up with ideas and bouncing jokes and funny scene off of one another.
I'm only an amateur writer, I don't expect you to be anything more than that. Perhaps we can exchange some of our writing in the first instance. Please do have some screenplay writing experience.
I'm based in the UK. Similar timezone would be advantageous but not essential.
Get in touch if you're interested, especially if you love comedy movies such as 'Bridesmaids' or 'Trainwreck' and similar.
Thanks.
