The Problem

Hello everyone, I'm Lauren, one of the Moderators here at r/ScotsGirlsGoneWild.

As has become a problem, not only on this subreddit, but on pretty much every large regional-based NSFW subreddit, the main feed is flooded with people who are not Scottish (or from the subreddit's target region). Half of these people are humans with no regard for the rules and just want attention, and half (or more than half) are bots trying to draw attention to OnlyFans links on the account's profile.

The Solution

I am constantly scrolling through profiles to see what subreddits people have also posted in. If they have posted in a non-Scottish NSFW subreddit (e.g. r/CaliforniansGoneWild), they're getting permanently banned. Any OnlyFans links on profiles will be checked and if the OF profile is public, it will be checked for a location. If it says anywhere other than Scotland; permanent ban.

TO SCOTTISH PEOPLE: Moderators have the ability to assign a variety of "user notes" with different icons, to communicate between fellow Mods regarding a user's behaviour/trustworthiness. These notes and icons are not visible to you; only between Mods. I'll be assigning the green-coloured icon and adding a note to users we feel are Scottish, as well as to verified users, so we know that you won't require a profile check if we see your posts on the subreddit feed.

Moderators Needed

A lot of this Moderation Team are inactive and it is pretty much just u/NaughtyScots-1 and I moderating right now, doing a 10-person job, as 2 people. You do not need to be Scottish to apply, but it is preferable. Previous moderation experience is also desirable but not required. Power mods/sub collectors will be rejected.
