| What are your pet peeves re: how "hackers" are portrayed in movies and tv shows? Will this show be a more accurate representation of that community? FYI, I saw the pilot a few months ago and really enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun. | I have many pet peeves but I'm learning to live with them. I'm glad you liked the Pilot and I think you'll find this show much more technically and logically accurate than usual hacker movies - we still have to make it accessible to everyone so we cant spend 20mins showing PERL script. However I like to compare it to the medical language in shows like House MD or ER. Can you comment on what type of IQ test this was and at what age it was performed? Why is there no official record of this? | How does it feel to have a fictionalized version of yourself on tv? How will you feel if they take the show in a direction you're not particularly pleased with? | Then I would have to send out the drones... Just kidding, I was careful to align myself with people of great integrity and thoughtfulness. From the network to the writers to the actors and producers we are all on the same page that this show is for the greater good and will influence a new generation to embrace that "smart is cool". |

| What programming language did you start out with? I'm looking and I would like to teach myself. Any help, sites, or tips would be outstanding. You're and inspiration. Also if you were to start out, as a novice, would you use Linux or windows? | I started with Locomotive Basic on an Amstrad 464 but I'm dating myself. Learning a base language like C or Java is always a good start as many other languages are based on these. In my opinion you need to know IOS, Linux and Windows as your software will likely touch all 3. Also learn AWS the Amazon cloud to run your Linux servers in. |
| Aside from being the inspiration, how involved are you on the show itself? | I'm the executive producer, I provide the base stories to the writers and then review and help with the technical aspects of the scripts. I also help the actors understand and pronounce the tech dialog better. And I mitigate any risks that could impact the show. |
| As a person with a ridiculously high IQ, how do you view the rest of the general public? Are we all a bunch of crayon-eating mouth breathers by comparison? | IQ is not everything, I marvel at how people are better than me at many areas not IQ related - art, music, singing, dancing, cooking, gardening, designing. I'm only good at certain specific areas like coding, hacking and general problem solving. So we're all just different. |
| How do you star working on IA? | If you mean started in AI? I started thinking about thinking and replicating human abilities from the age of 10. I then got degrees in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence in England which helped formalize my knowledge. |
| If you don't mind me asking, how much do you make a year? | Enough to reach self actualization on Maslow's Hierarchy of needs and have true creative freedom to do fun projects like this TV Show. |

| How did you choose your hacker name? | It was chosen for me in high school as I was a very docile person until pushed too far and I am very loyal to my circle of friends (a group of scorpions is called a cyclone). So I had the nature of a Scorpion. |
| What can IA tell us about the human intelligence development? | If you mean AI? then it forces us to study ourselves, how we learn, see, walk, hear, understand, infer. So yes it is the key to understanding ourselves and how to separate Consciousness from our Meat Vehicles (Bodies). |
| What is Stephen Hawking's IQ? And could you beat him if you guys went head to head in Jeopardy? | Stephen's is high, I believe 160. Jeopardy is more about memory of trivia than IQ so I think Watson Link to en.wikipedia.org would beat us both. |
| The 1995 movie "Hackers" was ridiculous yet awesome. Did you enjoy the movie? What parts did you like/dislike? | I liked the opening scene a lot and in 1995 it was the beginning of explaining this culture to the public. But I think we can assume the audience is more advanced in 2014. |

| We know that the team Scorpion is based on real life people, right? My question is, Paige is based on a real life person, too? | Yes she is, they are called supernannies and we have many of them. They are high EQ and reasonable IQ so they babysit the geniuses and the customers. |
| Do you get to consult on the show? I saw the preview for the pilot (LAX tower cannot talk to airplanes), it has almost nothing to do with reality. Do you cringe when you see things like that? | The scenario actually happened. Its still entertainment so we will add some excitement but in my life truth has been stranger than fiction. |

| Given the many stories of high-IQ individuals performing far below their expectations, are there any think tanks devoted to scouting such at-risk kids and guiding them and providing them with resources/funds in the same way that basketball scouts corral kids who can dunk? | We are the only formal one I know of that applies the intelligence to practical problem solving and has a hard minimum requirement of 150. |
