I have a2017 Wolf 49cc scooter. I purchased it recently from a friend. It has a little over 300 miles on it. It runs fine and starts OK but when I first purchased it it idled at about 2000 or 2500 RPM. I adjusted the idle screw down, and it ran and idled fine for about a month. Recently, when I am riding and the bike is warmed up, a stop at a stoplight or a stop sign requires that I keep the throttle partially open to keep it from dying. I tried adjusting the idle screw again, but to no avail so I assumed that it was a carburetor issue. Carburetors are so moderately priced on Amazon, that I just purchased a new carburetor kit, which appears to be pretty much identical to the carburetor it came with. I exchanged the carburetors, and there is no difference in the runability . It does exactly the same thing with the new carburetor. I am guessing that this is an issue withthe ignition? I am reasonably mechanically inclined, but this has me stumped. Always in the past idle issues were caused by improper carburetion. If you have any idea what the problem is or would like to take a guess that would be great. Thanks in advance for your input.
