One new electronic choke and petcock later, and she starts right up consistently 🙏🙏🙏 thanks for all the help I found in this sub! However, the engine still wasn't getting full power. Since this is the first time it's run reliably in a few days, I was actually able to sit and listen and I heard a high pitched clinking sound coming from the front of the engine. I pulled off the valve cover and discovered that the top rocker arm is missing the hex nut! So no shit it wouldn't get up to full power. I'm glad at least all this stuff is breaking down at the same time so I can get it all fixed. I've ordered new hex nuts for both rockers because not a single shop in my area carries any kind of hardware or parts for small-bores, now I'm just crossing my fingers that the broken bolt (missing) just harmlessly tumbled down past the chain 😳😳😳
