My daughter is 11 years old. We go in November to talk to her doctors about a spinal fusion. She has magnetic growing rods from her bottom of her neck down to the tip of her butt crack. The rods have reached there full length and doctors suggested to us about a spinal fusion. What are pros and cons about having this done at a young age? What have others noticed after they had it done? What should i be prepared for as a mom? Advice, tip, anything to make me a little bit less stress about November coming up.
