39F here, I went to my PCP who ordered a lumbar CT due to some numbness and pain in my toes (we thought it may be related to my scoliosis). I haven't had an xray since I was in my 20s but at the time my curvature was over 40 degrees in my lumbar and over 27 degrees in my thoracic. Now the PCP and said "Your MRI looks generally pretty good. It did note some scoliosis. The radiologist noted it as mild in your lumbar spine. But there were no large disc protrusions. May be some mild narrowing where the nerves come out in your spine. That could cause some of your symptoms. This is not considered surgical. If the nerve/leg pain is bothersome, I recommend consultation with pain management for possible injection versus coming into the office and we can discuss medication options." ...I would rather not be doped up and in pain...I think I'm going to seek and orthopedic doctor, I have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon in January also. Anyone else have conflicting reports like this by their medical care team?
