Most cliché sci fi openings?

Post Body

In the last week I watched the first episode of Raised by Wolves, the trailer for that Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley movie, and then the Netflix show Tribes of Europa.

I thought it was funny how all three and so many more open with a ship crash landing on a planet.

What are the most cliche way a sci fi story can start?

My top 3 are:

Crash landing Exposition about how earth was destroyed People marooned on a ship in space

What else am I missing?

Here's my question: If any of you are starting your stories with one of these tropes, how are you handling it in a way that doesn't feel cliché?
