Starting a new independent science fiction and technology zine (digital magazine). What do you think of this idea (read more below)?
Post Body

If a zine brought you:
- new sci-fi stories and art on a monthly basis
- paid 90% of profits directly to artists, 10% donated to charity

Would you pay five dollars [USD] for it?

The zine will also be backed by a continuously updated Tumblr blog, Wordpress blog and Twitter.

At present, the zine will only feature original fiction and art. We'll be digital-only at first. If readers want a glossy paper "magazine" edition, that could be a possibility later.

So what do you think? We're different from other zines by our blend of visual art and prose, and that 100% of the profits go to the artists and to charities.

The zine will sustain itself by offering monthly memberships to those who want to become paying members (membership fee will include the zine so you don't pay twice).

P.S. Copyright trolls, read this and go squat somewhere else.
