Qs re: people in suspend animation

HI!
Let's say you are placed in suspended animation (for whatever reason)
Can you vote?
Do you still have to pay taxes?
Do your investments still accrue cap gains, dividends, and interest?
...probably other things I am overlooking

In Hyperion one of the characters spends sometime lost while in SA (or something like that). His investiments all went wrong and he gets poor (and brain damaged) when he wakes.
