I was watching a video animation from this new company BrainBridge that claims it has developed a process to perform a human head transplant. I think it will not work and will just end up killing the recipient (the donor would be brain-dead).
What other stuff have you heard about that you think will fail?
Bit more of an r/futurology question but...
Haptic feedback gloves that aren't just a piping hot reminder of why the tech died in the 80s.
Honestly I generally feel like VR is gonna go the way of terrestrial TV and just run up against a wall. There's only so much input you can feed in from outside without going through a direct neural connection.
