So, I am an 8th grade school counselor and at lunch these girls were arguing heavily and almost got into a fight with another student. They said it was going to be ok for 6th period but wanted me to get them 7th since they shared the class with the student they were arguing with. I pulled them and were doing different techniques to help them calm down. However their 7th period teacher came up and pulled one to go get work and was asking what the issue was. Of course this only made the students more irritated. Then the teacher was frustrated and rude with me for having them. Mind you there are only two days left in school. I just honestly feel like I can't win. How do you all deal with teachers that can't trust that we know what we are doing.
