College grad here. What is the learning style that is taught to university students?
Post Body

I went to school for college and most of our learning styles was just being taught how to use the tools and develop hands-on experience with them. But from what I hear about universities, they tend to be larger in size and teach a broader range of subjects in a given field than college does. But I'm also wondering if there's a difference in the intangible skills that you develop in university that you don't develop in college. Like the sources I see often say that Universities are heavily research based while colleges are more practical? What do they mean when they say research based? Are most of your assignments mostly research?

I have a background in tech so I think it is helpful to hear from uni students with a background in tech as well, but all other answers are accepted as well.
