Retractable leashes.
Post Body

My Mini will turn 2 in March. I was stubbornly against buying a such a leash. I read so many opinion it is not good for a dog. The dog will pull a lot. But yesterday I bought one. And oh my goodness - what a surprise. I love it. And my Freddie seems to love it as well. I was scared I wouldn’t know when to push the blockage but hey it’s so intuitive.

He doesn’t pull at all. This leash is slightly longer than his previous one, so more space to run. He doesn’t drag the leash on a ground so it is not wet. He seems more relax. I couldn’t be more wrong about it. It so comfortable. I bought the brand starting with F (I don’t wanna advertise anything here). It’s neon (dark dog in the night at least people can see the leash) and it is a tape not rope. It’s 5m/16ft. I highly recommend it.

I wonder what is your experience with such leashes? Thanks.

ETA: 30 minutes ago I had a taste what is like to deal with it while being jump by a larger dog, thank god it was a puppy Labrador but still, he was just being friendly wanted to play but quite harsh. Jump on my baby. I said to myself I don’t know what would happen if this was an adult aggressive dog. I would not be able to deal with him while having this leash. No way. That made me quite scared. It’s a good leash but I get what everyone is saying. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH EVERYONE!
