Anyone got a good recommendation?
Here's what's going on:
I have schizoaffective disorder (mostly delusions--I guess, I don't really know if some of them are real or not-- and extreme intrusive thoughts), PTSD, ADHD, and probably borderline personality disorder (i've never seen anyone long enough to get an official diagnosis).
I've been off my meds since I got out of rehab several months ago. I was living in PA and doing relatively ok for a bit, but then I got moved to the basement, where I had some traumatic memories, and I just went downhill really fast.
I came back to my parents' house (where I have extreme traumatic memories and current toxic relationships with my parents). I went to a doctor over three weeks ago, and they put in a referral to a psychiatrist and a pain clinic, but I still haven't gotten in. I'm going to LA to visit friends next week, but I can only stay for a week. My parents said I had to find somewhere else to go because I can't come back here (not that I really want to).
Anyway, I really, really, really want to find a nice inpatient place where I can see a psychoanalyst and have groups regularly for a while. I only have Medicare and Georgia Medicaid, though. I've been Googling, but it seems futile. Does anyone know if a place like this exists anywhere in the US? I am desperate. I want to kill myself every single night, but I don't want to go back to another shittie psych ward that doesn't even help.
