Looking up information on schizoaffective disorder is a difficult task I’ve realized, I’ve been trying to learn more about it since being diagnosed with it but everything the internet turns up is on schizophrenia. I’ve even asked my psychiatrist questions and the only answer they’ve been able to give me is that they’re not sure and that they’re still learning about it. I made this post specifically because someone here asked if this disorder leads to possible brain damage long term, and doing a search online for this exact question gives little to no results, what comes up are articles about schizophrenia. There’re very few articles on the effects of this disease long term or any studies on it, which is an example of what I mean when I say it’s difficult to find information on it
