Picking up an idea from a couple of years ago, to make a playlist that is as exhaustive a snapshot of bands of this genre in a particular time period (let’s call it mid/late 90s to early 2010s). I think I have done as much as I can do as one person and now want to try and crowdsource what is left and asking this sub to help! So please take a look and let me know who needs to be added. “How could you forget X band?!?!”

That’s the purpose of this post, if I missed a band just let me know!

“How could you put X song over Y song!!”

Limited each band to 1 song to keep the playlist somewhat manageable and more like a catalog. So some hard choices had to be made; if I was familiar with the band I usually picked my favorite or a song I thought best encapsulated them. And if I was not familiar with them, I usually just picked their most popular song.
