Hi I’m new to this subreddit. I just started trying out online dating a week ago and already encountered romance scams. Found this subreddit and find it more intriguing than online dating. I saw some successful posts, some even reverse scammed the scammer, brilliant.

Now I wonder, Is there a systematic guide on how to ruin a scammer’s day?

(1)how do you know for sure you are facing a scammer? Like some set-up bait questions ?

(2)how do you develop the thick skin mentality when you are setting up the scammer? The flow of your words and conversation to make the scammer believe he’s getting at you?

(3) how to set up to what kind of scenario to give the killer move?(the WTF moment for scammer)

Any insights or experience is welcome.
