Hi there
Do you have any clear routes for a developer whose about 4 years in, but still feels like they hardly know anything? And really wants to become a strong mid level developer.
How have you made sure to learn more and up your skills as a Scala developer? Did you set clear goals for yourself?
I should have a lot of time to study this year, I'm currently going through this coding questions book: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cracking-Coding-Interview-6th-Programming/dp/0984782850/ref=sr_1_1?crid=78HJOEXSKDVW&dchild=1&keywords=cracking the coding interview&qid=1612886831&sprefix=cracking ,aps,170&sr=8-1 (not all of it is relevant to Scala)
I have this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Functional-Programming-Scala-Paul-Chiusano/dp/1617290653/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2DXC5WB2BTDNA&dchild=1&keywords=functional programming in scala&qid=1612886868&quartzVehicle=106-2129&replacementKeywords=functional programming in&sprefix=functional ,aps,175&sr=8-1 but find it kinda dry
I have just build a project for fun that uses http4s, cats, doobie, postgres, docker and kafka. I'm not that comfortable with docker, so I'm going to play around with it some more.
I'm not sure what else to learn/what other projects to build.
Many thanks
Jackie
