I'm giving a 90 minute Scala presentation to a Java Users' Group (TCJUG). What are essential talking points and examples to include?
Post Body

I'd like to give some examples of integration with major tools that people might be familiar with, like Spring, Maven, JRebel, etc. I also want to show them IDE integration and usage with any Java tools like javap (for the hardcore Java people in the audience). I'd also like to talk about Scala specific tools. I want to explore the practical more than the theoretical, but interesting uses of the type system, pattern matching, actor library, etc are all definitely cool. I think compare/contrast with Groovy is important too, since that was the subject a couple months ago. So what are the essentials?
