My 82 yo dad has been getting treatment through the VA for scabies for OVER 5 years. The cream for that long and then he just took the invermectin. I went to the va w him once to CONFIRM its scabies(I think it’s delusional) and the stupid dr couldn’t confirm the presence of insects. I occasionally get “nerve pinches” that feel like being bitten but have used his hairbrush, laid in his bed, never gotten them. I don’t think he has them but I would change my mind if I saw one. He’s totally convinced and it’s becoming a real issue between us. Please help?
