Have you guys tried sea water?
Post Body
I have read anecdotes of people who got better from scabies by swimming in the ocean several days. They say the salty water helps kill the mites.
Do we have any scientific evidence about this?
Is it the high level of iodine in the sea water? Or maybe the combination of sea water and being exposed to the hot sun on the beach? UV light kills scabies. It damages their DNA.
EDIT: Just a curiosity: sea water can kill fleas. The salt dehydrates them. Maybe the same logic applies to scabies?
