Post Body

I think I just need some time to really read through stuff and commit things to memory but - my current struggle is learning more about different eras, specially the early ones - roman/anglo-saxon/saxon, anything pre-1400s, pre-fitted gowns.... there seems to be a lot of garb cross over with viking (which I'm not as into) as well. (guals, picts....??)

Then theres the issue of names. I think I found a roman/byzantine (given) name I like (Aelia) but I think I want the garb to be more saxon leaning... is that possible? Do names and garb etc have to match? Though looking at the art and stuff - there doesnt seem to be a huge difference in saxon and byzantine except maybe the fabric? But I realize I could be way off and simply skimming the blogs etc isn't quite enough to figure it out.
