Hello all.
I recently discovered that I'm not nearly as bad at archery as I always thought... I had just been using arrows that were too short for me. This discovery has prompted me to get more in to archery, and I'd like to get myself a bow.
However... I'm having trouble with my research on what bows are appropriate for my persona. I'm looking for bow types that would be period for a 11th-12th century Rus who spent some time in the Varangian Guard. Hunting or warfare. Once I nail down what style of bow I can get on making or buying it (I do have the resources for that last part).
Any help would be appreciated!
