I'm newer to the SCA and over been seeing a lot of negative posts about people and hearing a lot of negative comments/judging recently online and offline. It's concerning to me because I've been told that people don't judge others in the SCA which has been the opposite to what I've witnessed. One of the rules I've heard is don't bring politics/religion into it and there are plenty of people that do bring it in. I'm concerned if this is normal than why say everyone is welcome if some are clearly not welcome?

Edit: I understand that Nazis and other hate groups are not welcome that comes with common sense. I did not make this post defending hate groups.
