I am wanting to get back into playing Alto. I haven't played in 5 years, and ever since I had Covid I haven't had any lung capacity, and had no luck with getting my lungs stronger again so far. Any exercises of building my lung capacity back up enough to play again?
Should I get a softer reed and more open mouthpiece? Would that help to start? I use to play on a Yamaha 4C and Vandoren Blue Box Strength 3.5
