Things you need to know about me: I’m autistic and I’m highly sensitive to loud noises so I wear earplugs to theaters.
Ok so I’m actually considering seeing Saw X in theaters. I’ve seen two (2) horror movies in theaters before (IT (2017) and Us (2019)) so this isn’t my first rodeo but it is with Saw (I didn’t become a fan until just before Jigsaw came out and I never thought I’d see a Saw movie in theaters but TOBIN BELL IS BACK so I really want to Be There for that). But I have a really hard time with loads of jumpscares because they primarily rely on big sounds out of nowhere. I feel like if I can make it through watching IT I should be able to make it through Saw X (seeing as Saw isn’t a series known for its jumpscares) but then again movies didn’t rely on jumpscares back in the 2000s like they do now so the formula could have changed in that aspect.
So, without any spoilers (I don’t need to know when or how many exactly or what to look out for), are there a lot of loud jumpscares in Saw X?
