Is late February/Early March a good time to visit Savannah to have mild weather see spring flowers?

Post Body

My family and I are from Detroit where winter can last well into March and sometimes April. We don’t really get nice weather until May.

I have time off classes from February 25 until March 6th and was trying to convince my family to visit Savannah, Georgia as well as Charleston, South Carolina. They want to do this idea as well as the idea of going to Key West but I don’t like hot weather and it just seems so expensive.

Will the city be in bloom and do recommend us visiting around this time?
