So, I've seen that video before and I kept on thinking of what might've happened to Khalid and that thread has showed many follow up articles including this one from BBC News.
I hope that Khalid is released soon and that he is doing well.
If anyone has any stories of that day (It was on a Friday, late March I believe), please post them either here or on that thread.. I'm sure there are some interesting stories.
As for me, here's what happened:
It was on a Friday and it was the only time I've seen the streets this deserted.. the Mosque that I usually went to that was over-flowing with people and usually there were more than 200 people praying on the street. This time, it wasn't even half full. There were police cars every two blocks. My Dad and I stopped by one of them and asked them if there was a curfew and one of them said "Yes, from 4 PM" while the other immediately interrupted him and said "No such thing. Go ahead and pray." with a stern voice.
This was in Al-Khobar though.
Edit: Grammar was messed up.
