In 2020, me and my 2 friends (we were all 16f), were in the parking lot of panorama mall in Riyadh(the one outside, not the basement, and my friend was vaping. I think vapes were not allowed back then, or at least we thought they were illegal, but my friend was doing it anyway and she kept blowing the smoke into mine and my other friends eyes. So our eyes were kind of glassy and red. We were also sitting and drinking the same flavor barbican. We were on the curb, and cars kept driving by us. After a while, a white normal sedan came, and stopped in front of us, and the driver rolled down his window and said to see our iqamas, and that he was a cop. He was mostly speaking in Arabic so we couldn’t understand him fully (none of us were fluent) and only my friend who was vaping saw the badge he showed her.
He said he is going to park his car and come back and told us to wait, so we did (he started driving away with my iqama and I stopped him to get it back before he drove away), and my friend was very scared so she gave me the vape and I hid it in my shoe. And he came back, and asked about the smell, and we told him it was the barbican, and then he was like you have nothing to worry about and he tried to shake our hands (we fist bumped him instead because Covid). He was wearing a green thobe, not a police uniform. Then he said he wants to talk to my friend alone (the one who was vaping), and took her near his car. We could see her the whole time as it wasn’t very far. Me and my other friend waited for some time then followed her, and then we waited till she was done talking to him. He also asked us if we needed to go anywhere and he could drop us if we got in his car and my friend said that our father was coming to pick us up. And after she finished talking to him and she came to us and said that he told her she had really pretty eyes and he asked her again to get in his car.and then she told us to run so we all started running. But we were running on the side of the mall to the gate, and he was in his car and driving really slowly next to us with his window down and kept asking us to get in his car if we wanted to go somewhere, it was really funny tbh and we were laughing but we were also scared of getting arrested. Then we went inside the mall and hid in the bathroom till our parents came to pick us up.

I wanted to know if this was a real cop or if it was some guy trying to kidnap us?

TLDR: someone claiming to be a cop asked me and my friends (all 16f) to get in his car.
