Yesterday I posted on an ENM sub asking whether being a Satanist would affect peoples choice of dating someone (I've already got Male/Married/Polyamorous against me 😂).
I have to say that the results were almost universally positive. 👍
That is until people realized I meant the CoS definition of Satanism.
Then I got a lot of "that's the bad one, I'd only date TST members".
I was surprised how skewed the perception of CoS was and how so many open-minded people were prepared to write someone off for that alone.
Probably naive I guess haha!
But I didn't like the urge it bought out in me to defend myself and Satanism. I'll start using the hashtag notallLaveyans soon! 😂
This year is the first time "outing' myself in public so I guess I wasn't prepared. I'm pretty easy going with others beliefs.
A good learning experience! 🤘
