How does one reconcile their morality being a Satanist w the wealth of insane, evil and violent things done in it’s/his name? Would it be accurate to say that the LHP is responsible for more of said carnage than the RHP simply due to their respective aspirations, however genuine or deluded? Isn’t it somewhat identical to all of the atrocities done in the name of christianity or other religions which Satanism claims to be the antithesis of? Is it a matter of just telling yourself or realizing that “they’re just not true Satanists”? Could there be a direct relationship between Satanism and evil or are they just falsely correlated? Have I simply watched too many horror movies? Could it be my previous Christian programming still leading me to believe that they have falsely appropriated all peaceful & good-intentioned things and Satanism the opposite? As a newbie this is one aspect of Satanism that I still can’t seem to shake and am hoping that others who may have felt the same way in the beginning could enlighten me.
