Taking a brief look at some of the unlimited cellular plans available from the majors, it's a stark difference between them and Sasktel at the moment.
Sasktel offers an unlimited talk/text and a data package at 100 GB for $160/mo. This is nation wide. If you want Canada/US then you pay $170/mo.
Telus and Bell both presently offer an unlimited rate plan that works in both Canada and the US and offers 150 GB of data before throttling...for $105/mo.
Put another way, for Can/US data to the cap before throttling, Sasktel is presently charging about $1.70/GB where Telus and Bell are offering a plan charging $0.70/GB. That's less than half.
Am I missing something? It doesn't look like a limited promo...it's just on their websites as a plan offered among all the others.
Even Rogers is in on the "totally not colluding" price scheme with the same offering. Sasktel isn't even coming close.
