Hi, Oliver Graves, local comedian. I don't have a lot going on as I don't have shows to go, like the good ole days before I ever got booked, but I can't even hang out at open mics, not in this area, or any area. I know that's the case with just about everything. It's pretty tough to be a comedian when you can't get in front of an audience.... anyway, Im rambling.

Im looking into doing a kind of digital show. It would feature comedians, most likely local to sonoma county. They'd perform in front of a webcam and you could all watch live. Im apprehensive to do it cause I know comedy is such an alive art where we feed off the audience. If people were receptive to it and wanted to help support comedians in their area I could look into tackling the technical aspects and find place to broadcast. There's a lot of comedians in this area and none of us are getting stage time. It's way to entertain people and they don't have to leave the house.

Im doing kind of a test run on the concept this saturday on my youtube channel, that's just me, and most likely won't feature other local comedians. If you're someone who's gone out to a comedy show in the area before and would be willing to swing a few bucks to comics to do a live stream for a few hours, that'd be good to know.
