A guide for differentiating species/varieties?

I’ve been browsing the San Pedro sales subreddit and wondering how all the sellers know which varieties they have (assuming most grew from seed).
I did not start any of mine from seed, and have collected them for years from various places. Is there any guide to IDing them?
All I can find is how to distinguish T. Pachanoi from look-alikes which is pretty generic and not helpful.
