What soil mix do you guys use?

Hi guys I hope you’re all well !

I am going to repot my sammys soon and for for the few years I’ve had them they have always just been in regular potting soil and have been doing fine.

I am just wondering what soil mixes do you guys use and if I change to a mixture of say potting soil / cactus soil or potting soil and perlite or any other combinations, do you think they will grow better/faster than in the regular potting soil ?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

PS I live in Cape Town South Africa so the weather is pretty good.
