Pups and areoles turning purple? Advice needed

So I posted about this a week ago and got one reply that there wasn’t an issue. However the pups and areoles on these plants are turning a dark purple, moving from the base of the basal pups up to the tips on the areoles. Two of the pups are nearly completely purple. It looks slightly dehydrated and I’m working on that. Curious if I need to remove these? All pics are the same plant except for the last one which I noticed is showing similar purple on the lower areoles.
