Old church inside Spring Lake Preserve? Trying to find more info

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I used to sneak into Spring Lake Preserve a few years back and came across the ruins of what looked like an abandoned church or some other very old building. I can't find any historical info online though and was wondering if any of you know the history of that building?

EDIT: Now that I look at it on a map, I guess it's not in the preserve itself. It's in the fenced off between Ed J L Green St and Spring Lake. I can't exactly locate it on Google Maps, but I believe it's around here:
