Hi!

Were you on the Bay Bridge in totally stopped traffic today around 12:30 pm? The reason the traffic was stopped was because several people were chasing a kitten across the highway, which then decided to jump up into my car from underneath. The people could not find where it went and after pulling off in the breakdown for a while looking for it, I decided it was safer for everyone involved to leave.

I finished driving to my mechanic in Berkeley where I discovered a grey kitten clinging to my springs in the wheel well, still alive. Unfortunately, the kitty bit the mechanic who extracted it, so it's at quarantine at the animal shelter.

If you were one of the nice people who stopped to help this kitten, or who used their car to help keep me and my car safe while people were crawling around under it, I just want to let you know that as far as we know now the kitten is ok (though in shock, obviously!). And thank you!
