i got my car stolen 10 days agoā¦ i reported it to SFPD and they put it in the system and they gave me a case #. i am still waiting on the police incident report thatās supposed to have the officer in charge of the case information in it. all week i have been doing investigation on my own to understand where my car could be. i have even built a 24/7 monitoring system to notify me ASAP if my car gets a citation in 50 cities in the Bay. i want to reach out here because iām genuinely desperate.
i wouldnāt want anyone to go through this. it was parked on 120 Guerrero St and was stolen at 5:31am
itās an unmistakable dark green 1995 BMW 530i LP #: 3KKF772 given there arenāt that many 95 bmws on the roads chances are if you see it thereās a high chance it is mine.
hoping to get help looking around the abandoned parking lots and areas for dumps. Including and not limited to Bayview, Lake Merced, Vistacion Valley, Coliseum in Oakland, and wherever else someone has found their stolen cars.
if you see it on the roads, or know anyone who has information PLEASE contact me or SFPD. please.

Thank you so very much. I canāt appreciate you enough. I did go to Oakland, and the greater East Bay myself the weekend after it happened and spend all day and night looking around. Especially the last location pings of my work laptop that was in the trunk. If you dm me I can give you more information about that and also list some streets I didnāt check in case you can drive by them on the way back from work :(
The rate of stolen car recovery in the US is 57% and in the Bay its over 80% so its not the most likely outcome of my search

Where was it stolen from? When you found it, was it just parked on the street?
Fruitvale as in the Bart station area? Can you please dm me so I can get more concrete information about the area to check?
SFPD told me there is a central nation wide stolen car database. I have access to a police database and surely it does show my car as stolen and so does every other car even the ones out of state

I sat through and watched all nightās surveillance footage of the restaurant down the street on Fillmore intersection and at 5:31am I can see my car being driven away.
