i got my car stolen a week agoā¦ i reported it to SFPD and they put it in the system and they gave me a case #. i am still waiting on the police incident report thatās supposed to have the officer in charge of the case information in it. all week i have been doing investigation on my own to understand where my car could be. i have even built a 24/7 monitoring system to notify me ASAP if my car gets a citation in 50 cities in the Bay. i want to reach out here because iām genuinely desperate.
i wouldnāt want anyone to go through this. it was parked on 120 Guerrero St and was stolen at 5:31am
itās an unmistakable dark green 1995 BMW 530i LP #: 3KKF772 given there arenāt that many 95 bmws on the roads chances are if you see it thereās a high chance it is mine.
if you see it on the roads, or know anyone who has information PLEASE contact me or SFPD. please.

Can you please give me some yards I should start with? Wouldnāt the city know if it got impounded?
Called and confirmed its not with the impound. Doesnāt show up with the VIN either
You were getting notifications as in they were calling you?
Did the police call you or you called the police when you got the citation? Was the car just unlocked?

Yes as rare as it is to find a 95 bmw on the road anyways Ive never used my brain as a utility organ for pattern recognition so much prior to my car being stolen :( Anytime I see remotely anything that looks like it my hair stand on end and I know I need a closer look

What do you mean when you say bay area parking enforcement ticket payment website? I built a system thats monitoring 50 cities for parking citations but that relies on me actually getting a ticket
