My best friend since college recently moved away and my therapist says it's a good idea for me to try and establish some new friends to fill the extra time I used to spend smoking / playing video games with him in order to help curb stress from work/life/politics/etc.

Ideally I would like to have someone who also has their shit together but also wants someone to commiserate about work/life/relationships/stress

No real expectations of anything more than a smoking/drinking buddy, but if the stars align that would be fine too.
