I’m looking for ways to volunteer and meet people! Anyone have recommendations?

I’ve found I have more downtime than I’d like most weekends and would like to find somewhere I can consistently volunteer for a few hours every Saturday or Sunday.

Ideally something social, as I am a single 29 year old male and could use a few more friends and wouldn’t mind meeting a girl either. Preferably something with similar aged people. Would like to join a community or charity that gives back and does good things. Anything to do with animals, environmental/climate change, educating the youth, financial education, mentorship or people with mental disabilities would be awesome but open to other suggestions.
