Hi,San Diegans.
I recently came to UCSD for my graduate study and since I'm a movie fan who especially loves HLF like IMAX and Dolby,AMC Mission Valley seems to be nearest theater close to me that can provide these stuff.I'm thinking of doing a double feature this weekend for The Creator and SAW X but it would be pretty late at about 10:30 when the show is off.Since I don't have a car yet,I'm taking the trolley line back to La Jolla at night.
My question is,as safe as it is in La Jolla, where I can just walk around in the middle of the night without being harassed or assaulted in any way, does Mission Valley becomes more dangerous for an asian guy at night?I've looked up the crime map there, and it seems okay, though not great, but I'm still a little bit concerned.I actually went there a couple of days ago for the Barbie IMAX experience but it was in daylight and the SUPER nice and friendly staff at the theater just made my day so I could be missing out like the homeless people situation over there.
