My dog escaped my backyard in Cibolo on Friday 0731 at 8am. At that time she had an old collar that my dad accidentally put on her with my ex's sister's number. Someone found Bloo and called the number. From there my ex's family made arrangements to take the dog. I have been in contact with my ex to get her back but he is refusing to give her back because "she looked uncared for and was running loose in the streets." She has her current shots and has been well cared for and loved for the last 6 years. I have her current records and her microchip is in my name with my contact info. I have pictures of her from over the last 6 years she has been living with me. I am so devastated and heartbroken. I have gone to the police but they are unwilling to help me. I have been so worried and have been trying to find any leads on who he has hiding her from me. I just want my girl home. I just need help in getting the police to call him and get her back home. any advice or anything to help bring her home is all I ask.

I have pictures she is mine. And he said its a civil matter. It just hurts even more that i can't get help in getting her home and now my ex isn't returning my messages. I just want to cry because I am so worried for my dog. I don't know if she is sad and confused and being called a neglectful owner hurts too.
I do but I am afraid that will take too long and she will be shuffled around from place to place. I'm just so worried how she is doing.

I have been getting in contact with my local animal enforcement to verify if it is a civil case and calling my divorce lawyer to get the info I need to prove the agreement of the animals custody. I had also been trying to contact his sister to just try to appeal to her reborn Christian self but should have known that was fake. I just don't care to see my ex anymore. He is a mean person and it has scared me by his comments through all this of knowing where I have lived in the last 7 years. Not something I was prepared for so I think it has made me more scared to confront him about it.
