Have any of you SAtonians replaced your grass lawn with some other kind of groundcover? I'm not talking about plastic lawns or rock gardens, but LIVING ground cover marketed to replace grass. Some are different colors (like pink), some are drought-resistant or claim to be well-adapted to our environment, and some claim they never need mowing. If you've got this or have tried it, can you fill me in on the specific plant and any pros or cons you've seen? Looking to get feedback from people who live in SA or close-by on how well it worked. Thanks!
