Is there any way to get back a save file on San Andreas

Hi, so basically yesterday when i was playing san andreas i went to save the game and left, then today when i tried to play again my save file was empty and next to it said the time "january 0:00" or something like that. I feel like it might've been my fault cause when i did save i immediately left without letting the game load in my character.
