I have used several android phones previously but the last time I used one was galaxy S2, and HTC models. I have been using iphones ever since, starting with iphone 4 and then a new model every other year. I had the iphone 14 pro max with ios 18 beta but wanted to try something new, so I purchased the Samsung s24.
After a week of using the device this is what I have come up with.
Pros from Apple - Better messages - Better notes app - Better password manager - Better wallet - Better app store (fewer permissions given) - Face ID is better than finger print reader - Better photo gallery compared to Samsung - Some apps work better on ios
Pros from Samsung - Better customization - Multiple choices ie, s-pen vs finger, Samsung apps vs Google apps, app drawer vs homescreen - Some apps work better on android
I'm still learning the device but this is my initial reaction after 1 week.
