I bought an SD card for my Samsung A21. I'm still getting the "Storage space running out" message.
Post Body

Hey so I'm assuming my phone didn't come with a lot of built-in storage. For the last few months, I've started getting this annoying "Storage space running out" notification. It refuses to go away until I tap it to bring up some kind of memory analysis page, but then it just appears again. I tried to delete some things but that somehow just made it worse.

So I bit the bullet and bought an SD card. I got the second biggest one they had for $30. Its some kind of name brand in a red package. I got home and inserted it, and something didnt seem right. I thought it would expand my storage but it didn't. I'm still getting the "Storage space running out" notification. And a swipe left reveals a second screen for the SD card memory, but it seems a lot smaller than the size I bought.

I've tried literally everything. The Samsung website doesn't help. Calling Samsung doesn't help. YouTube doesn't help, because they are telling me to go to settings that don't exist. I've tried formatting it, I've tried restarting my phone, I've looked in settings > memory, I've asked friends for advice, and my phone even asked me if I wanted to start using the added memory (paraphrasing here). Of course I said yes. But none of it helps. My phone is also fully up-to-date. Something is not right.

For what it's worth, I have a Samsung A21. I think the software version is 12 or something like that. Shouldn't the memory be expandable or internal or whatever? I don't know. I'm lost.

I have an important event coming up in a matter of days and I was hoping to take photos and maybe even video. Please help!
