I am super frustrated.
I currently have a Galaxy S20 FE that I've had for quite a while, and while it is still slated to get security security updates, from what I can tell it is not going to be included for major software updates going forward.
For this reason, and because I like having a newer phone anyways, I've been trying up upgrade my phone. However, I use a pre-paid phone service that doesn't offer a way to buy phones (I'm disabled and cannot afford a contract phone service). So, I went to Samsung directly to try and purchase a phone through them.
I was able to select the phone I wanted (Galaxy S22), and selected the Affirm payment plan option as I would have only been able to pay for the phone by making payments. Affirm approved me, but then my order sat for like 2 weeks with no notice of anything happening. The order was then canceled, and a week later I got a letter saying Samsung couldn't approve my Affirm plan and canceled my order.
I just want to upgrade my phone, and cannot seem to find an way to do so. I know I'm showing my age here a bit, but I miss the days of phones not costing more than my rent. If anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it cause I literally have no idea what to do at this point.
